Olujide Arije graduated from the University of Ibadan with an MBBS degree in 2005. He is a fellow of both West African College of Physicians (Faculty of Community Health) and National Post Graduate Medical College of Physicians (Faculty of Public Health). He also has a postgraduate Diploma in International Health Policy and Evaluation from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has technical expertise in turn-around management for both qualitative and quantitative survey from planning, collation, analysis and presentation for program monitoring and evaluation (including impact evaluation).

Olujide Arije also has managerial expertise in managing project operations and logistics including budgeting and people management. He is a certified professional trainer for the ATLAS.ti software for qualitative data analysis. He is also very competent in the use SPSS and STATA statistical software with a working knowledge of R. Dr. Arije also has expertise in monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluation, bottleneck analysis and grants proposal writing. He currently works as a Senior Research Fellow in the Institute of Public Health, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Ongoing projects he is actively involved in includes: “Action research to reduce the vulnerability of adolescent girls and young women to HIV infection in selected states of Nigeria”, for which he is the National Program Manager.
